A couple of weeks ago, my friend CJ from Southern Star Entertainment, told me about her new contest she was hoping to put together at the Cecil! I was thrilled because it sounded like a lot of fun! I was very happy to contribute one Mini Outdoor Pet Paw-trait session to the contest for the audience each week of the contest! Last night was the first round of the contest and it was fantastic & I had a blast!
It was an amazing time and fun was had by all! In the pre-game warm up fun karaoke - I was stunned when one of the contestants belted out Evanescences Bring Me To Life - to perfection....a very difficult feat and I know only one other friend who can do so in all my years of attending Karaoke!
Contestants rolled the dice to see which numbered category they would be singing from......
I think my personal favorite categories of the night wound up being childrens songs & TV Theme Songs -
There is truly nothing like watching a grown man sing The Wheels On The Bus, a young lady trying to sing Oh Susannah (which shed never heard of lol) as well as the poor girl who got to sing the theme song from Welcome Back Carter & The Adams Family as well.

Hopefully it will help to get more Rescue Pet Owners together to help raise money for local animal rescue groups this summer! Without the support from local Rescue Groups, the community and businesses like Southern Star & Cecil Hotel spreading the word and most of all YOU the public, we cannot make this work! Over all an amazingly fun time was had by all and I truly cannot wait to do it again next week all over again and to also give away another Outdoor Mini Pet Paw-trait Package!!!
